Rocky Horror Hits Bio Paradis

Last Friday, 13th of February, Bio Paradis saw its first ever Rocky Horror Shadow cast, lead by their fearless directors Natalie Pearl and Kjartan Ragnarsson. There was so much demand in the week leading up to the show that a second screening, minus the live actors, was put on to accommodate the overflow. To sum up the show it was a energetic, interactive and very queer. The cast did an incredible job considering the only full rehearsal took place that same day.

My university held a yearly production of Rocky Horror, making me one off the few non ´Virgins´ present at the Bio Paradis screening. Nobody however knew the show as well as Nat and Kjartan. For every line said on screen they had a response ready to go, I swear there is a whole separate script when it comes to audience interaction and they knew it all. I for one hope this can become a regular event at Bio. Maybe be put on a couple of times a year, each time performed by a new bunch of fresh faced weirdos with a love for theatre and no other outlet.
